The course offers an in-depth exploration of the Azure OpenAI Service, which provides access to OpenAI’s large, advanced language models, including those powering the popular ChatGPT service. These models enable various natural language processing (NLP) solutions to understand, converse, and generate content in an advanced manner. Users can access the service via REST API, SDK and Azure OpenAI Studio. The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to carry out training exercises that will provide practical experience in the use of the tool, for each of the topics covered during the course.Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of IT and cloud computing.
- Familiar with the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Basic knowledge of natural language processing (NLP).
COURSE CONTENT
Below is an overview of the course contents:
- Introduction to the Azure OpenAI Service and OpenAI language models: This module provides an overview of the Azure OpenAI Service and the language models provided by OpenAI. Students will gain an understanding of the basic concepts related to generative language models.
- Provision the Azure OpenAI Service: Students will learn to provision the OpenAI Service within the Azure environment, following the necessary configuration and management procedures.
- Deploying and configuring OpenAI models on Azure: This module will guide students through the process of deploying and configuring OpenAI models within the Azure environment, including configuring parameters and of the necessary resources.
- Using REST APIs and SDKs to interact with OpenAI models: Students will gain hands-on skills in using REST APIs and SDKs provided by the Azure OpenAI Service to interact with models of OpenAI’s language, allowing them to easily integrate models into their applications.
- Integrating OpenAI models into generative AI applications: This module will focus on integrating OpenAI models into generative AI applications, illustrating practical use cases and providing guidelines for correct integration.
- Best practices for effectively using OpenAI models on Azure: Students will explore best practices and recommended strategies for effectively using OpenAI models within your Azure environment , including performance monitoring, resource management and security.
