MOC Workshop: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions

Teaching methodology

The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to work in order to complete training exercises that will provide practical experience in using the instrument, for each of the topics covered during the course.

Who should participate

Students in this seminar should be intermediate to advanced users of the Microsoft Azure platform. They should be developers or IT professionals and have extensive experience with all platform. This course is aimed at students who aspire to become solutions architects.

Prerequisites

Students should be advanced users of the Microsoft Azure platform and have extensive experience with the entire platform.

Educational program

This workshop provides an opportunity for developers and IT professionals to come together and learn the architectural skills needed to design solutions for Microsoft Azure. The classroom experience for this seminar is the high-level review of pre-requisite materials students are expected to have completed in advance. Then, students will come together in groups to work on different real-world design case studies to design solutions for the Microsoft Azure platform.

After completing this workshop, a student should be able to design principles and techniques for:

• Cloud infrastructure and development
• Microsoft Azure infrastructure and networking
• App Services Web App
• Advanced applications
• Application storage and data access
• Resource protection
• Management, monitoring strategy
• Business continuity strategy
