Kubernetes on vSphere
The course covers a number of topics fundamental to effectively using Kubernetes in a vSphere environment. Specifically, the course begins by preparing the client and vSphere for the installation of vSphere with Tanzu (TKG) , followed by the creation of the Supervisor cluster and Tanzu workload clusters. The course also explores Tanzu add-ons and the importance of cluster monitoring and backup. By the end of the course, students will be able to use Tanzu Kubernetes Grid effectively and safely.

Teaching methodology
The course includes educational laboratories in which each student will be able to work in order to complete training exercises that will provide practical experience in using the instrument, for each of the topics covered during the course.
Prerequisites:
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
- Basic knowledge of vSphere
- Basic knowledge of networking and security
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and scripting (preferably Linux)
At the end of the course the participants will be able to:
- Prepare the client for cluster management
- Configure vSphere as a cluster management platform
- Create a management cluster for managing Tanzu Kubernetes clusters
- Create Tanzu Kubernetes clusters
- Install and manage add-ons for the Tanzu Kubernetes cluster
- Monitor the Tanzu Kubernetes cluster using integrated solutions
- Back up the Tanzu Kubernetes cluster for security and data redundancy.
